Technical Assessment & Consulting

Prior to beginning field construction, CPI professionals offer the following services. The goal is to ensure the effectiveness of resources and effort.

Project Pre-Planning –

CPI assists clients with project pre-planning services. This includes a technical assessment and evaluation of current conditions as well as recommendations for project approach for possible of corrosion protection plan(s) or system(s).

Technical Assessment and Evaluation Services –

CPI tests and evaluates current coating or cathodic systems, providing recommendations for maximization of resources and effectiveness.

Coating System Specifications Preparation -

Clients benefit from detailed technical coating system specifications which directly match project requirements, parameters and performance requirements. Specifications may be prepared directly by CPI or in coordination and cooperation with owners, architects and engineers connected to the project.

Cathodic Protection Design Preparation -

Custom designs of cathodic protection systems are developed by a CPI’s NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) level-4 certified cathotic protection specialist. In addition to new system development, we are pleased to provide industry leading testing, evaluation and mitigation.

Technical Specification Review – (if specification already exists)

When specifications have been developed, CPI is pleased to provide a technical review of the project specifications and contract documents to make recommendations of suggested changes to approach or specification details. It is recommended that this occur prior to the documents being sent for bid. This helps avoid potential change orders and/or impact to project schedule and performance.
